Hamilton Kilgour Ltd provides practical regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering and corporate governance consultancy for the international financial services industry. These services include, but are not limited to:- Transactional - Regulatory compliance due diligence or post-acquisition integration related to the sale, purchase of merger of financial services businesses, dealing with issues such as gap analysis, regulatory conflict resolution, training and cultural integration.
- Project Management - Oversight and management of regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering or corporate governance projects, whether wide ranging such as global implementation of new rules or policies. Or office/business specific, such as establishing an effective compliance function for a new office or ensuring compliance with a direction or order from a regulatory authority.
- Review - Reviews of effectiveness and compliance of businesses with particular rules and regulations or the general compliance culture in an organisation or office.
- Interim Management - Providing senior level compliance management coverage for a limited period of time to cover illness, maternity leave, unexpected resignations or planned dismissals. Assistance in recruiting a permanent replacement may also be provided.
- Advisory - Provision of high level advice on dealing with cross-border regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering or corporate governance issues; management of compliance departments and development of compliance cultures. This may also include drafting of regulatory policies, procedures or manuals.
- Training - Assistance with the creation and/or delivery of successful compliance, anti-money laundering and corporate governance training programmes. Mentoring of promising individual compliance professionals may also be offered.
Services will generally be provided under a fixed term contract during which the particular client will be the sole focus of Hamilton Kilgour Ltd’s attention. Hamilton Kilgour Ltd’s services will not generally be provided in the UK or US but can be provided at a place of the client’s choice outside those jurisdictions.
